a matter of choice

do we really have choices in this life?  choice?  what choice?  we r really helpless as we r being swept in the fast flowing current of life.  as we happily tumble along do we have the wisdom to choose what to grab in that rush?  we r NOT given a choice,  its predestined n its called FATE.
